The Engineer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting the Data Warehouse environment that is in place to support the business. The successful candidate will be passionate about Data Warehousing Architecture, developing reliable, efficient, and maintainable ETL solutions, obsessed with providing our users with robust information solutions, and will possess an excellent understanding of the tools and support needed by the organization in order to develop these solutions productively. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Build and improve Data Warehouse solutions by translating business requirements into robust, scalable, and supportable solutions that work well within the overall system architecture. * Strong communication, organization, and data analysis skills * Design and develop dimensional data models to support the growing Data Warehouse Architecture * Perform detailed source-system analysis, source-to-target data analysis, and transformation analysis * Design and build data mappings from multiple source systems to data warehouse, maintaining source data integrity * Participate in the full development cycle, end to end from design, implementation, documentation, and maintenance * Validate and test that ETL mappings meet requirements * Assist in the development of detailed test plans and test data for project deliverables as part of the development life cycle * Support User Acceptance Testing * Delivery of quality solutions on-time and on-budget * Evolve the Data Warehouse environment within the organization, including better information delivery mechanisms and methodologies * Work to develop the best technical design and approach for new solution development SKILLS -- REQUIRED: * Data Warehouse roles (5+ years) * Dimensional Modeling (Kimball) * Informatica PowerCenter * Informatica PowerCenter (version 8) * Informatica PowerCenter - Administration * SQL * Requirements gathering (primary liaison to stakeholders) * 1st Language English or equivalent (i.e. 7+ years in US, AUS, Singapore, Europe, etc.) SKILLS -- NICE TO HAVE: * Cognos * Oracle DBMS (2+ years) *** FOOTNOTES *** (1) LEVERAGEncy uses a PulsePen to record any interviews () to help expedite candidate reviews.
