Network Engineer Washington, DC Daily Responsibilities Network Engineer will join a core team of Facility Modernization Leadership Personnel to include a network architect, logistics and installation, and requirements managers to plan, manage and execute large site installations, moves and closures in the National Capitol Region. The networks supported will include classified and unclassified networks, as well as WAN optimization tools. The Network Engineer will be responsible for planning and executing the network installation and de-installation functions. Must be knowledgeable network design, test and evaluation, as well as provide installation guidance for routers, swtches, crypto and optimization equipment. Daily Responsibilities Continued As an additional area of responsibility, the Network Engineer will be the primary POC for developing and maintaining documentation to be used as a guide to the team in order to ensure consistency and quality throughout the program. Required: Years of experience (min) 6-9 Required: Degree None Required: Basic Qualifications Qualified Network Engineer will have experience designing, troubleshooting and/or installing classified networks, preferably JWICS.
