Crytek USA Will Focus on Online Games and AAA Titles Cevat Yerli, the leader of the Crytek studio, says that the newly created USA studio is set to work on a number of online game projects, but in time, it will also come to tackle more complex AAA titles. Speaking to Gamasutra, the chief executive officer stated, “It would be pretty much safe to say that this team will be working on online games and kick-ass triple-A productions. It is going to be quite a significant investment for Crytek over the next five years.” At the moment, Crytek USA has 35 employees, most of them former workers at Vigil Games, with David Adams, former general manager and co-owner of Vigil, leading the team. Crytek has also picked up the Homefront 2 franchise from THQ, but Yerli has made it clear that his company currently has no plans to also try to secure the Darksiders series.
