Google Wallet for Android Now Supports Any Credit or Debit Card Google has just released a new update for its Wallet application for Android devices. Although it’s a small update, it brings major features including support for credit and debit cards. More specifically, Google Wallet now supports any credit or debit card from Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Keep in mind that these cards are now available for in-store purchases using a phone with the Google Wallet application, as well as for online purchases at select merchants. It is also worth mentioning that Google Wallet users who lose their phones will now be able to disable their mobile wallet from the ‘Devices’ section of wallet.google.com/manage. Last but not least, the update adds various improvements to the user interface, application stability and battery life. Google Wallet 1.6-R96-v13 is now available as a free download via Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.3.3 and up. Check it out
