Professor, Electrical & Computer Engineering Technology Valencia College is actively seeking an academic leader to serve as Professor, Electrical & Computer Engineering Technology. The college serves the central Florida region, enrolling more than 60,000 credit students through five campus locations. Our focus is to improve student success through engaged-learning. Professors are employed to teach in discipline or discipline areas in which he/she has specific training and/or competence. As such, is expected to plan, organize, and teach in a manner to promote and direct successful student learning in keeping with the College's learning-centered values and goals. Qualifications: PhD degree from a regionally accredited institution in Electrical or Computer Engineering or near completion of a doctorate degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with professional experience. A minimum of two years of full-time teaching experience, relevant industrial or basic applied research experience and excellent teaching skills. Experience in supporting ABET accreditation for undergraduate programs is preferred. Strong professional experience in teaching undergraduate theory and laboratory courses in electronics, logic and logic devices, and circuit analysis, microprocessor systems architecture and programming, the design of embedded systems, DSP techniques; audio systems; real-time programming techniques; engineering design software such as, Multisim, LabView, MATLAB; demonstrated ability to lead design project courses that integrate electrical, computer and audio hardware and software.
