REGISTERED CLINICAL OFFICERS - VACANCY NO. MOH/FACES/MIGORI-01-16 • Must have a mean grade of C plain and above in K.C.S.E. • MUST have at least a Diploma in Clinical Medicine from Kenya Medical Training College or any other recognized institution with a valid practicing license • The candidates should be trained in ART Adherence counselling and have skills/ knowledge in counselling in the context of HIV/AIDS. • The candidates should have at least one year experience in HIV clinical care including anti-retroviral. • Must be willing to work in any facility within the County. Duties and responsibilities: • Provide care and prescribe treatment for patients within the facility. • Conduct Physical exams • Order appropriate investigations and prescribe the drugs • Refer clients accordingly • Will be involved in hospital and home visits for patients • Training and mentoring of other clinical staff. • Offer HIV counselling, care and support to the patients at the facility level. • Maintain patients ‘confidentiality. • Maintain good relationships with the management team, patients, and entire community at large. • Attend facility meetings, CMEs and MDTs. • Perform any other duty as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.
