The Chief of Staff will act as the Private Secretary to the Governor and will be responsible for ensuring the overall administration and management of the Governor’s Office; ii. Liaising closely with the Governor to ensure the overall smooth running of the office; iii. Managing the Governor’s diary; iv. Supervising the political and Parliamentary offices in the Governor’s office; v. Coordinating the Governor’s overseas’ contract and visits liaison with administration department; vi. Supervising Governor’s Strategy and Delivery Units; vii. Supervising communication department and viii. Any other duties that may be allocated by the Governor; ; (b) Requirements for Appointment i. Be a Kenyan citizen ii. Be a holder of at least a first degree from a university recognized in Kenya; iii. Have knowledge, experience and distinguished career of not less than ten years in administration and management; iv. Satisfy the requirement of chapter six of the constitution. C.
