Assistant, Associate, or Full Clinical Professor in Medical Imaging successful candidate will join a radiology team composed of three full time ACVR board certified radiologists, two imaging residents, seven technicians, an MRI technologist and administrative support staff. The UM, VMC is well equipped with Kodak CR and PACS, Eklin DR (Equine), GE LOGIQ 9, GE VIVID 7 and Acuson Sequoia ultrasound units, Seimens digital fluoroscopy, Toshiba 64-slice spiral CT, on-site GE Signa HDx 3.0T MRI, and gamma camera with Mirage software. Primary duties will include clinical participation in the Imaging Service of the Veterinary Medical Center (VMC). Clinical responsibilities include small and large animal diagnostic radiology and special procedures, small animal ultrasonography, CT, MRI, consultations to local veterinarians and VMC faculty/house officers, and after-hours emergency consultation. Anticipated workload distribution for the clinical track position will be: clinical service and clinical teaching minimum of 70% [up to 80%], didactic and laboratory teaching minimum of 10% [up to 30%], and scholarly activity minimum of 10% [up to 30%]. Teaching responsibilities will primarily include providing clinical instruction to interns, residents, and professional students as they rotate through the Radiology/Imaging service, but will also include participation in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year Radiology didactic courses. Other job responsibilities include participation in clinical research and scholarly activities, personal development and discipline/non-discipline related service to the College of Veterinary Medicine and other veterinary-related professional organizations. Board-certified individuals will have the opportunity to participate in the teleradiology service offered by the imaging group.  Required/Preferred Qualifications: The University of Minnesota, College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking applications for an Assistant, Associate, or full Clinical Professor position in Medical Imaging. Rank will be dependent upon qualifications and experience. This is a 100% time, annually renewable, non-tenure track appointment. Qualifications include: DVM/VMD or equivalent veterinary degree, successful completion of a Radiology/Imaging residency with eligibility for or certification by the American College of Veterinary Radiology or European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging by start date, and evidence of outstanding clinical and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate must be eligible for Minnesota state veterinary licensure. Preference will be given to individuals who are board certified by ACVR or ECVDI , who have evidence of outstanding teaching skills, and previous research experience and/or training in MRI or other modality which complements the strengths of the current imaging faculty.  Job Type: Full Time      Contact:       University of Minnesota Twin Cities Minneapolis, MN  United States
