Job Summary: Our internal Dev team for this private cloud product is in transition. We are looking for 2 or 3 senior developers in Toronto to lead product development efforts going forward. This includes: • Maintaining the existing code base (debugging, delivering bug fixes, architecting and building enhancements) • Leveraging the IP and existing product code base to innovate and build compelling new features and solutions. • Technical leadership within our Private Cloud platform. Minimum Qualifications: • 3+ years experience designing and developing multi-tiered, multi-threaded applications in C# or J2EE • 3+ years experience with OO design, implementation tools, and methodologies • Experience developing solutions on the vSphere platform Ideal Candidate: • Working knowledge of VMWare ESX/ESXi infrastructure • Working knowledge of XML and SOAP • Knowledge and experience with Windows operating systems and networks including Win 32 API, system calls, the registry, services, COM, WMI, and MMC • Experience with asynchronous or message-based programming • Experience with MS SQL, Oracle or DB2 RDBMS • Experience building products and diagnosing issues across various technology layers on Windows and Unix systems • Comfortable working on wide range of technologies and application layers: networking, database, application and user interface • Strong work ethic and professional • Experience designing systems to meet stringent performance, security, and availability requirements • Result – oriented individual (who strives to deliver quality code on-time) We are an equal-opportunity employer, offering a competitive salary with excellent benefits.
