VIRAL LOAD CHAMPION - VACANCY NO. MOH/FACES/MIGORI-04-16 Key Requirements • Must have a mean grade of C plain and above in K.C.S.E. • MUST have at least a Diploma in Clinical Medicine from Kenya Medical Training College or any other recognized institution with a valid practicing license • The candidates should be trained in ART Adherence counselling and have skills/ knowledge in counselling in the context of HIV/AIDS. • The candidates should have at least one year experience in HIV clinical care including anti-retroviral. • Must be willing to work in any facility within the County. Duties and responsibilities: • Daily conduct chart reviews to ensure all eligible patients have a viral load test • Track the viral load results and ensure timely relaying of results at facility level • He/she will spearhead Multi-Disciplinary Team review of the patients with detectable vial load and follow up on proposed interventions. • He will also be expected to provide care and treatment services to patients in the clinic including physical exams, prescription of drugs, home and hospital reviews • He will Train and mentor other clinical staff. • Perform any other duty as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor
