Postdoctoral Research Associate in Phosphor Physics  Medical Physics Division at the Washington University in St. Louis, Department of Radiation Oncology seeks a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Phosphor Physics to develop dose imaging device for multidimensional radiation therapy dosimetry. In particular, the successful candidate will be investigating the fundamental physics behind storage phosphor based dosimeter, in both radiation storage and subsequent optical readout. The dosimetry research lab is well-equipped, and has access to a wide range of equipment and instrumentation through Washington University Center for Materials Innovation. In addition, this NIH funded research position will provide opportunity to pursue a medical physics career. Medical physics is a creative, expanding and rewarding profession that combines professional clinical service, teaching and research.  Candidate should have a Ph.D. in physics, chemistry, materials science, or a related engineering area. Excellent lab skills in experimental physics and the ability to publish the research results are expected.  Qualified candidate should submit his/her CV and three names of references that can provide letters of recommendation to the following address.  H.
